Can I take Anadin Effervescent 200mg if I am pregnant/breast-feeding?

Women should seek advice from their doctor before using any medicines in pregnancy. Do not take Anadin Effervescent if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy. Avoid it if possible if you are in the first 6 months of pregnancy, trying to become pregnant or breast-feeding.

Can I take Anadin Effervescent 200mg if I am asthmatic?

Can I take Anadin Effervescent 200mg if I have or have had a stomach ulcer?

You should not take Anadin Effervescent 200mg if you have had or are suffering from a stomach ulcer. You can take Anadin Paracetamol instead. If you require a stronger painkiller than paracetamol, it is recommended that you seek medical advice from your pharmacist or doctor.

Each effervescent tablet contains 200mg of Ibuprofen. Anadin Effervescent 200mg is available in packs containing 10 effervescent tablets.

How to use:

How often can I take it?

Take 1 to 2 effervescent tablets dissolved in a glass of water. Repeat every 4 to 6 hours as required. Do not take more than 6 effervescent tablets in 24 hours. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, consult your doctor.
