Earex Ear Drops Gentle & Natural 10ml

How does it work?

Earex ear drops contain almond oil, arachis oil (peanut oil) and camphor oil. This combination is used to soften earwax.

Earwax is a normal secretion of the ear. It is produced to provide a protective layer in the ear and on the eardrum. There are times when too much wax is produced. This can result in hearing difficulties and may cause pain.

A hard plug of wax can be softened using Earex ear drops. Ear Wax can also be removed by your doctor or practice nurse, by flushing the ear with warm water (syringing). If there is a lot of wax or the wax is very hard, it may need to be softened first and Earex ear drops can also be used for this.

Warning!

· People with ear pain should always seek medical advice before using this medicine.

· Do not stick anything into the ear, such as cotton buds, to remove wax.

· Earex ear drops should be disposed of eight weeks after opening.

Not to be used in

· Allergy to peanuts or soya.

· Inflammation and infection of the outer part of the ear canal (otitis externa).

· Inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema and seborrhoeic dermatitis on the outer ear.

· Perforated eardrum.

This medicine should not be used if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you have previously experienced such an allergy.

If you feel you have experienced an allergic reaction, stop using this medicine and inform your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

How to use:

To buy this product you must be over 16 years of age. As with all medicines you should consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are currently taking any other medication, if your symptoms persist or if you suffer any allergies. You should always seek advice if you are breast feeding, pregnant or planning a pregnancy.

Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children.

Usage

For external use only.

DIRECTIONS:

1. Tilt the head to one side.

2. Put 4 drops into the ear using the dropper.

3. Gently place a piece of cotton wool into the outer ear.

4. Repeat night and morning for up to 4 days until wax is softened.

If trouble persists, consult your doctor. Do not use if sensitive to any of the ingredients or if the ear is inflamed or infected or if the eardrum is not whole or ruptured.

Use within 8 weeks after opening.
